Every day One Symbol publishes one symbol, carried by one real object: a carved relief, a manuscript page, a cylinder seal, a woven roundel. With it come a few words on what that symbol has meant and where the meaning came from, and a longer read underneath for anyone who wants to keep going.

Objects come from open museum collections. Every entry carries its credit line and accession number.
